Linda Mateljan is an insights-driven strategist, creative director, and visual artist who brings over fifteen years experience working at the dynamic intersection of strategy, communications, and image-making. Combining her corporate consulting experience with sophisticated creative execution, Linda’s expertise lies in articulating compelling brand stories and cultivated visual content.

From advising innovative start-ups to established companies in the beauty, hospitality, and culture categories, Linda has collaborated with industry experts and best-in-class creative talent to build brands with a positive and meaningful strategic vision.

She co-founded Ikon Arts Foundation, where she crafts brand, marketing, and visual strategies that have steered triple-digit growth of grant funding and engagement. As the Creative Director of The Model CoOp Linda helped evolve the personal brands of some of the fashion industry's most notable talent. During her tenure as a consultant for L2 Digital Thinktank and prestige consultancy LBF Inc. she developed brand, digital, and social media strategies for companies such as La Prairie, MAC Aids Fund, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, as well as innovation work for J.P. Morgan Chase that resulted in the creation of the Chase Sapphire product line. Her work has been written about in Trendhunter, The Art Newspaper, Dwell, and ELLE Magazine, among others.

Beginning her career as a multi-disciplinary artist and writer, Linda’s work has been published in print magazines (Oyster, Australian Style), awarded multiple grants, and exhibited in commercial galleries and public institutions such as the Art Gallery of Western Australia and PICA (Institute of Contemporary Art). Her photography and installation-based practice explored themes of identity formation and representation with an underpinning in French psychoanalytical theory, a foundation that has informed much of her work in brand and visual strategy.

A passion for art, design, and photography, and her drive to expand her creative and intellectual horizons, continue to inspire Linda's pursuits both personal and professional.

In her spare time, she can be found discovering exotic cultures and indulging in the local cuisine, snapping photographs on her Canon 5D Mark III, road-tripping, hiking, and swimming in the sea, exploring downtown galleries, listening to anything played acoustically, or just chilling in the plant-filled oasis she calls home

Linda holds B.F.A. / B.A. degrees in Philosophy, Art History and Studio Practice from the University of Western Australia (AUS), a B.A. with 1st class Honors in Finance and Marketing from the University of Westminster (UK), an M.Sc. in Real Estate Investment from the University of Reading (UK), and is currently completing an M.A. in Experience Design at New York University (US).
